MONTH OF ACTION TO DEFEND HARINGEY’S PUBLIC SERVICES

 

Tuesday 8th November, 7pm – HTUC open meeting: All out on November 30 – Defend jobs, services and pensions!
Speakers and discussion on coordinated industrial action. Organised by Haringey Trades Union Council.
West Green Learning Centre, N15 3RB

Wednesday 9th November – defend our education. Support local and national students protests!
Join the protests. Assemble with the Day-Mer contingent at the North London Community House, Moorefield Rd, 10.30am to go together to the national demonstration in London at Malet Street, WC1 (12 noon).

Thursday 10th November – HAPS General Meeting to defend all local public services
7.15pm, at the North London Community House, Moorefield Road, N17
Promoting and supporting protests over local services including: youth centres / NHS / parks / older people’s services / education / public sector jobs (terms, conditions and pensions), welfare rights etc… All welcome!

Monday 21st November – Lobby of full Council meeting: Reverse the cuts – no to another £20m cuts!
Civic Centre, N22. Called by HAPS.

Wednesday 30th November – Support the thousands of local public sector workers out on strike over pensions and cuts!
Join the picket lines and rallies – including 10am rally at CONEL, Tottenham High Road, N15

  • Come along to help HAPS plan our local demonstration against all public spending cuts in Haringey

Tottenham Carnival Procession

  • Assemble at 11.00am at Eade Road, London N4 for procession to Bruce Castle Park
  • The procession organisers welcome a contingent from HAPS on the march – bring noise, banners and placards
  • Note: due to police objections and council delays the festival in Bruce Castle Park has been cancelled this year – outrageous!
